Birch December 24 - January 20

A salmon under the paw of a bear.

Wisdom and authority are yours this month. Salmon represents the wisdom and Bear the authority. This is the month to exercise your power to achieve your ends. Remember to rely upon the wisdom as the foundation of your authority.

Rowan January 21 - February 17

Siding with the ailing King I follow him to the end.

This month your choices will be tested. Your loyalty will be tested, too. You must decide. The ailing King may yet recover. How will your loyalty be judged by yourself? A month of quiet, deep self examination.

Ash February 18 - March 17

Oxen pull a cart full of war booty.

Few people realise the importance of oxen. Motive power, fertiliser producers and eventually food, they were the general purpose power movers of the past. Remember this month, the power drives you in all your victories. Enjoy the booty, remember the power. 

Alder March 18 - April 14

The fox stalks carefully through the ripe barley.

Move in quietitude this month. The stalking is the approaching. You are nearing the end of this section of your quest. Full protection is afforded by the barley crop, the crop sacred of the Goddess. You DO see the picture? 

Willow April 15 - May 12

The ancients are always with us.

The wisdom and the heresies of the past are always available to you. This month you are being reminded that you can access this. You are also being reminded that you carry the history of your family in this life now. All good and the toxic are with you always. Use this month to sort through them.

Hawthorn May 13 - June 9

A bard recites an epic poem.

This is the month to look at the story of your life. Every life is an epic poem! Look back and it will seem obvious. Look forward and the pages appear blank. What comes next is dependant upon what was before!

Oak June 10 - July 7

An enchanted crow flies through a rainbow.

The bringer of personal lessons is flying through the chakras of the sky. Spend this month meditating upon the seven chakras. Cleaning, re-invigorating and enjoying. Look for the personal message at each energy centre.

Holly July 8 - August 4

Entering the Lord's hall, I am welcomed with open arms.

As a good an faithful servant of the hidden powers of the world, you are welcomed as a friend. Celebrate the differences you have made for being in this world. 

Hazel August 5 - September 1

Visiting ancestors alone I enter the other realms.

A month of meditation and journey. You may visit the tree of ancestral knowing. Enter where it touches the ground and travel up and down as the tree directs you. The great wisdom of your lineage is available to you this month.

Bramble September 2 - September 29

Cattle raising and barley farming set the soul to rights.

Strength and wisdom are the key to this month. Those with wisdom rarely need to exercise their strength. This month you need to decide when and how much of your strength to apply to a minor irritant. A test of your wisdom.

Ivy September 30 - October 27

Dangers are met before they arrive.

You are on top of you game this month. Nothing can harm you. You see things before they exist in the physical. This seeing will come as hunches, flashes and in just knowing. Go with your gut and enjoy the month.

Reed October 28 - November 24

Dragon's lairs protect and defends me.

You walk this month surrounded by the energies of the universe. You will not need to call upon these dragons. Just knowing they are there is more than enough.

Elder November 25 - December 23

The crying of women announces the time of mourning.

Suffering and pain are a natural part of life. As Winter follows Autumn, So mourning follows loss. Spend this month looking at the times of your life when you suffered an apparent loss. Look to the energy flow following this time and learn.
