The Ogham alphabet was used on trees, stones and sticks. Ogham may be used for simple correspondence, Talisman creation, magickal work and/or for protection. The layers and uses are limited only by your choices. I cannot explain fully what happens when Ogham is used in a charged magickal way. I created a two part talisman, in Oak, one half having half of the Ogham script of my name, the part below the line and on the other half of the talisman the part above the line, of my Ginny's name.
